BENZONIA — The Benzie Area Zonta Club will host a job fair from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the Mills Community House in Benzonia.
Bring resumes and references and dress appropriately for job interviews. Most available jobs are with seasonal employers.
TRAVERSE CITY — The Community Foundation is currently accepting applications from area students who are interested in an internship opportunity with a local nonprofit organization this summer.
Seven organizations in the region have indicated interest in hosting a student intern.
The job descriptions for each are posted on the Community Foundation website.
Host organizations represent a broad cross section of the regional nonprofit sector and include environmental, cultural arts, human services and recreational organizations.
Internships are primarily intended for high school and college students who are residents of Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties.

TRAVERSE CITY — Gloria Lara, chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore, will speak on “Leadership is a Journey” on Tuesday, May 7, at the Traverse City Country Club.
Lara will share how she has applied the principles from this month’s featured leadership book to her own career during the Leadership Lunch Club meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Traverse City-based Center for Coaching and Leadership Development is hosting this series of lunch and learn opportunities for local leaders and business owners.
Presentations highlight new and classic leadership books and feature regional leaders.

TRAVERSE CITY — Robert M. Meisner of the Meisner Law Group will conduct a half-day seminar from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 11, on condominium operation and legal essentials.
The seminar is designed for board members and officers, managers, developers and association members living in or working with a condominium, subdivision, cooperative or community association.
