TRAVERSE CITY — The Record-Eagle is conducting an online survey to assess readers’ buying tastes, shopping habits and other commercial preferences.
Readers will be able to share their thoughts on where they shop — big boxes, locally owned stores, or both? — what restaurants, wineries, brew pubs they frequent; what kinds of entertainment they prefer; whether they’re in the market for real estate; and other consumer-oriented information.
The survey is an effort to give local businesses insight on what readers and consumers want and expect from them.
The Record-Eagle’s online survey is available today at www.record-eagle.com at the “Reader Survey” link. The Record-Eagle teamed with Pulse Research to conduct the survey.
Respondents are eligible for a $500 cash grand prize; early responders are eligible for smaller cash prizes.
In coming weeks readers will see regular promotional ads in both the newspaper and www.record-eagle.com that will encourage readers to participate in the survey. Those who are interested in responding but who don’t have computers may use a computer at the Record-Eagle’s office on West Front Street in Traverse City.
