---- — Meredith Andrews and Fritz Horstman, both of Bethany, Conn., wish to announce their engagement. They are planning a May 25, 2013, wedding in Litchfield, Conn.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Pat and Taylor Andrews of Carlisle, Pa. Meredith graduated from Carlisle High School and received a bachelor of arts degree, with a major in art, from Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio. She also received a master of science degree in early childhood special education from Hunter College in New York City. Meredith currently is a kindergarten teacher at Alphabet Academy in Hamden, Conn.
The future groom is the son of Nan and Allen Horstman of Traverse City. Fritz graduated from Grand Ledge High School in Grand Ledge, and received a bachelor of arts degree, with a major in art, from Kenyon College in Gambier. He also received a master of fine arts degree from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Fritz is artist residency and facilities manager at the Albers Foundation in Bethany, Conn. He also is an art instructor at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Conn.
