TRAVERSE CITY — Dr. Phil Ellis, executive director of the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation, will speak on "The Impact of a Leader" during the Leadership Lunch Club meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, April 12, at the Traverse City Country Club.

Fundraising webinar

TRAVERSE CITY — NorthSky Nonprofit Network will co-sponsor a webinar, "Raising Support from the New Millennials: How to Raise Support from Younger Donors," from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19.

The program is a joint effort with with the Manistee County Human Services Collaborative, the United Way of Otsego County, the Otsego County Community Foundation, Hospice of Northwest Michigan and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

The session is designed to help nonprofit organizations design a campaign targeted to beginning to advanced practitioners, board members, volunteers and staff. The webinar will be broadcast at four locations including: in Traverse City at Northwestern Michigan College University Center, room 9; in Manistee at the City of Manistee Council Chambers (3rd floor); in Charlevoix at the Health Department of Northwest Michigan; and in Gaylord at the University Center of Gaylord.

EAST JORDAN — Celebrate spring’s arrival at the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at Deer Creek Junk, 320 State St.
