Man stabbed at mobile home park

TRAVERSE CITY — Grand Traverse sheriff’s deputies are investigating an attempted murder at a Long Lake Township mobile home park.

Deputies were called to the 7100 block of Cherry Lane Drive in Suburban Estates Mobile Home Park on Saturday at 12:43 a.m. after an altercation occurred between two Traverse City men.

A man, 36, stabbed another man, 21, authorities said.

The suspect drove away. Deputies stopped him four hours later, and he was arrested without incident.

The victim was treated at Munson Medical Center for stab wounds to his abdomen and leg. He is in fair condition.

The investigation is ongoing as detectives continue to interview witnesses.
