---- — ACME — It’s been more than 30 years since the Music House Museum’s Mortier Dance Hall Organ got a makeover.
Since then, the rare, 1922 Belgium-built instrument — one of the only original models left in the world — has developed a few aches and pains. But a four-week, $80,000 restoration is bringing the organ back up to snuff.
And, who better to tackle a Belgium-built organ than Belgians Johnny and Jeffrey Verbeeck, fifth- and fourth-generation organ builders and restorers.
