n Dr. Dave May has been certified by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners to perform DOT physicals. Only a select few providers have achieved this distinction after completing a demanding training course and passing a rigorous exam.

n Meagan Luce, of Century 21 Northland, will serve as president of the Traverse Area Association of Realtors Officers & Directors Board.

n Century 21 Northland agent Jamie Grace has been honored as Rookie of the Year 2013 by the Traverse Area Association of Realtors.

n Branko Gegich, a senior vice president, financial advisor, investment management consultant and financial planning specialist in Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management office in Traverse City has been named to the firm’s prestigious Master’s Club, an elite group composed of the firm’s top financial advisors. The appointment recognizes Gegich’s consistent creativity and excellence in providing a wide range of investment products and wealth management services to his clients.

n Matthew Vajda, owner of Voltage Electric, Inc. in Traverse City, will serve as vice president of the Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area. He has served on the board for three years.

n Tabatha Krumlauf joined Stewart Family Eye Care, Traverse City, as an office assistant. Krumlauf has over 13 years of medical experience and will provide patients with pre and post testing during vision exams, eyeglass frame selection, contact lens fittings and additional patient assistance.

n The Michigan Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus recently named Paul Beachnau, of the Gaylord Area Convention & Tourism Bureau, as vice president. Mary Carroll, of the Benzie County Visitors Bureau, will serve as past president.

n Jim Christians with Real Estate One has been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors. Christians successfully completed a course in understanding the needs, considerations and goals of real estate buyers and sellers aged 55 and older.
