Three area boys teams advance to state quarterfinals

Three area boys basketball teams have advanced to the state quarterfinals after winning regional championships tonight.

In Class C, Glen Lake won an overtime thriller against Shelby, 64-62, and in Class D Frankfort downed Bellaire, 55-42.

Cadillac won a Class B regional crown over Grayling, 60-41.

Glen Lake next plays Negaunee, while Frankfort will meet Wyoming Tri-unity Christian and Cadillac will go up against Big Rapids. All quarterfinal games will be played on Tuesday.
