TRAVERSE CITY — Zack Bargy knocked in a rebound with six seconds left on Saturday to give the Bay Reps a 3-2 victory over Traverse City West.
With the teams skating 4-on-4, the Reps had a two-on-none rush, joined by a third skater coming out of the penalty box. They were able to get three shots on West goalie Tyler Buchanan. He saves the first two, but Bargy’s third attempt found the net for the game-winning goal.
“After the first period, we played pretty well,” Reps coach Todd Spaulding said. “They had a good couple days of practice before this.”
Andrew Dzierwa and Travis Kirk drew assists on Bargy’s winning goal.

Each team put up a goal in the second, with Kirk scoring for the Reps off a set up by Dzierwa and Chase Joppich and Ryan Fernandez for West, assisted by Saxton and Benker.
