Bums' East Division team falls

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Five of the six players the Traverse City Beach Bums sent to the 2013 Frontier League All-Star Game saw the field for the East Division team tonight, but couldn't put together enough for a win. The West Division won the game 4-2.

The Bums' Scott Dunn pitched a perfect inning to start the game, while Jake Sabol threw a scoreless inning of relief, striking out one batter.

Designated hitter Chase Burch scored a run, catcher Marcus Nidiffer went 0 for 1 and shortstop Taylor Wrenn was 0 for 3 on the night while batting leadoff.
