Patriot Game honors heroes

TRAVERSE CITY — Friday’s second annual TC Patriot Game, pitting West and Central, will honor veterans, active military personnel and the local families of heroes who have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A ceremony will precede the game and will include the unveiling of a giant flag on the field. All veterans and active military will be invited on to the field so members of both teams can shake their hands and thank them for their service.

All veterans and active military will be admitted into the game for free with a military I.D.
