Glads move on to state title game

BATTLE CREEK - The Traverse City St. Francis Gladiators were victorious in their volleyball semifinal and have moved on to the Class C state title match.

St. Francis lost the first two games of the semifinal against Unionville-Sebewaing before roaring back to claim a 3-2 (23-25, 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-13) victory on Thursday afternoon.

The Gladiators will now face Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central for the championship on Saturday at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek.
