TRAVERSE CITY — Michigan State linebacker Max Bullough is now a Houston Texan.
The former St. Francis standout signed a free agent deal with the Texans after the NFL draft concluded.
Cornerback Darqueze Dennard, a first-round pick by Cincinnati, was the lone Spartan selected in the draft. Several others agreed to free agent deals after the draft. Safety Isaiah Lewis and offensive lineman Dan France signed with Cincinnati, linebacker Denicos Allen with Carolina, receiver Benny Fowler with Denver, defensive lineman Tyler Hoover with Indianapolis, defensive tackle Micajah Reynolds with New Orleans, and offensive tackle Fou Fonoti with San Francisco.
Michigan had three free agent signings — running back Fitz Touissant with Baltimore, safety Cam Gordon with New England and safety Thomas Gordon with the New York Giants.
Central Michigan running back Zurlon Tipton signed with Indianapolis and safety Avery Cunningham with St. Louis.
Eastern Michigan offensive tackle Andu Pulu signed with Seattle and safety Mycal Swaim with Tampa Bay.
Saginaw Valley quarterback Jon Jennings signed with Kansas City and offensive tackle Tevon Conrad with the New York Jets.
Ferris State safety Marvin Robinson inked a deal with Dallas and Grand Valley center Matt Armstrong with New Orleans.
