Detroit Lions football camp
The Detroit Lions will conduct a football at Traverse City West Middle School on June 23-26 for ages 6-14.
In addition to teaching the fundamentals and benefits of the game, camps will emphasize the three pillars of USA Football’s Heads Up Football program: proper tackling techniques, equipment fitting and concussion recognition and protocol.
Participants are grouped based on age and skill level. Each camp is limited to the first 70 participants to register and is conducted by Chris Fritzsching and the Detroit Lions Football Camp coaching staff.
The camp — which runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon — costs $169 per player.
