Bums lose 3-2

TRAVERSE CITY — Evansville scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to beat the Traverse City Beach Bums 3-2 in the first game of a doubleheader at Wuerfel Park tonight.

Evansville starting pitcher Chad James held the Beach Bums to just one hit in the game. The loss stretched the Bums' losing streak to five games. Both games in today's doubleheader are seven innings long.
