Bums' Dunn pitches perfect inning to start All-Star Game

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Traverse City Beach Bum Scott Dunn pitched a perfect inning of baseball for the East Division to start the 2013 Frontier League All-Star Game in Washington, Pa., tonight.

He was relieved at the start of the second inning. The West Division leads 3-0 after three innings of play.

Dunn is joined by five other Beach Bums players on the East Division All-Star Team — first baseman Chase Burch, pitchers Nick Capito and Jake Sabol, shortstop Taylor Wrenn and catcher Marcus Nidiffer — along with Traverse City coaches Gregg Langbehn, Matt Pulley and Dan Rohn.

Wrenn is the only other Beach Bum to have appeared in the game so far. He's 0-for-2 on the night.
