GRAND RAPIDS — Host Grand Rapids Creston picked up a 74-51 win over Traverse City West on Saturday.
The Titans (11-7) had 15 points from Alex Scott while Kendrick Meyer had 12 points and five rebounds. Jeremiah Williams had 10 points, five rebounds and five steals while Johnny Wheelock had six rebounds.
Creston also won the JV game 58-51. Thiyo Lukusa had 19 points for the Titans while Jeff Turnquist added nine points.
GNWBC wraps up season
The Great Northwest Bowling Conference wrapped up the season this weekend with the singles tournament on Friday and the team competition on Saturday.
Bellaire's Kristen Schlegel and TC Central's Samantha Mosley battled for the girls title with Mosley coming away with a 170-162 title. Meaghan Kennedy beat Mikaela Ransom in the consolation final.
In the boys championship, TC West's Sawyer Robinson fought back for a 201-169 win over TC Christian's Jon Tuck. Bellaire's Jared Moody beat TC Christian's Troy Novak in the consolation final.
For the team competition, TC West Green and TC Christian met for the boys title. Robinson had nine strikes in the final game for the Titans in a 436-368 win.
Glen Lake's girls held a small lead heading into the last game of the final against TC West Gold, but the Titans prevailed for the title.
