HARBOR SPRINGS — Bellaire won its first district soccer championship in school history with a 3-2 Division 4 victory over Charlevoix.
Hunter Rowe scored a pair of goals in the first half on assists from Drew Emery and Adam Underwood to give the Eagles a 2-0 halftime lead in a constant downpour.
Less than 10 minutes into the second half Underwood found the net off an Alex Perkins cross to make it 3-0.
With 24:33 left in the game, Davis LaBelle put Charlevoix on the board with a goal, then a Rayders penalty kick hit the post with 22:55 remaining kept the score 3-1 until Walker Drost hit a shot to trim the lead to 3-2 Bellaire with just under 12 minutes to play.
Adam Crandall had nine saves for the Eagles (22-1), who play Big Rapids Crossroads at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Muskegon Western Michigan Christian.
