BERKLEY — Cam Fisher scored four goals and added two assists as the Traverse City Hounds routed Berkley 14-2 on Saturday.
Jacob Gilles added a hat trick, and Garrison Sanipass had two goals as the Hounds won for the second straight game to start the season. Seven different Traverse City players had goals — four that were short-handed. Sanipass added four assists, while Scott Luca had three assists. Kenneth Simmons Jr., Patrick Rogowski, Alex Devries and Josh Smith scored Traverse City’s other goals.
Traverse City trailed 1-0 four minutes into the contest, but finished the first period with three goals to take a 3-1 lead into the first intermission. The Hounds scored five goals in an 18-minute span of the second period before the Bruins scored again, then Traverse City outscored Berkley 6-0 in the third to close out the game in dominant fashion.
