TC Hounds beat Ice Dogs, 9-1

FARMINGTON HILLS — The Traverse City Hounds scored early and often in a 9-1 road defeat of the Michigan Ice Dogs 9-1 Friday night.

Adam Jonak had two goals and two assists, while Cory Bussing and Josh Smith each tacked on a pair of goals for the Hounds.

David Krejcik started in goal for Traverse City (20-3-1-2) and stopped all eight shots he faced in the first period before giving way to Hunter Myers, who allowed just one goal on 15 shots the rest of the way.

Scott Luca, Kevin Miloser and Garrett Cebalt also scored for the Hounds, while Alex Grizzel contributed four assists.

The two teams play again today at 4:15 p.m.
