Frankfort 49

Benzie Central 25

Frankfort built a 31-13 halftime lead on the way to a 49-25 victory over Benzie Central.

All 10 players scored for Frankfort (2-0, 1-0 Northwest) led by Mason Loney’s 12 points. David Loney had 11 rebounds for the Panthers, who outrebounded Benzie 30-20.

Javier Rodriguez led Benzie Central with seven points.

Frankfort travels to Cedarville on Dec. 27.

Suttons Bay 46

Kingsley 39

Aaron Orban scored 12 points and Casey Cross had 11 points as Suttons Bay defeated Kingsley 46-39.

Leading Kingsley were Tyler Newell with 13 points and Tyler Case with 11 points.

Suttons Bay, which led 17-13 at the half, improved to 2-1 with the win. The Norsemen travel to Benzie Central on Jan. 7.

Elk Rapids 63

Charlevoix 32

Behind a fast start, which saw the Elks lead 23-3 after one period, Elk Rapids cruised to a 63-32 victory over Charlevoix.

Cole Walker had 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Nikola Dimitrov added 12 points, Shae Somers chipped in with 11 points, while Adam Trautman had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Leading Charlevoix was Nick Plude with nine points.

Elk Rapids (3-0) hosts Boyne City on Friday.

Harbor Springs 57

Kalkaska 51

Kalkaska led throughout the first half, but Harbor Springs used a good second-half run to down the Blazers 57-51.

Kalkaska (1-1) held a 17-15 lead after one period and 30-28 at the half, but was outscored by three points in each of the last two quarters.

Will Noble led the Blazers with 18 points and six rebounds. James Stosio had 11 points, while Kameron Cavanaugh had eight points, five boards and four assists. Harbor Springs’ Jack Carter led all scorers with 21 points.

Mancelona 61

Inland Lakes 34

Brandon Dingman had a solid all-around game to lead Mancelona over Inland Lakes, 61-34.

Dingman contributed 18 points, four rebounds, three steals and three assists for the Ironmen (2-1). Justin Spires had 13 points and six boards, while Jacob Allen added 10 points in the win.
