Area runner 'fine' after Boston Marathon explosions

FROM STAFF REPORTS

— BOSTON — One northern Michigan runner who competed in Monday's Boston Marathon is "fine" following explosions near the finish line.

Traverse City's Julie Moses was one of a half dozen Grand Traverse-area runners in the marathon. She finished in 3:59:29, just prior to the first explosion.

"We're fine," her husband, Joe, said in a voice message to the Record-Eagle.
