TRAVERSE CITY -- Warren De La Salle won the Traverse City West Holiday Tournament for the second year in a row, topping the hosts 5-1 in the finals Saturday afternoon.
TC Central won the consolation game 4-0 over Dearborn Unified.
The Pilots flew out to a 5-0 lead before West's Todd Knaus scored the Titans' only goal with 9:19 left, assisted by Dylan Sullivan.
De La Salle (3-0) built its lead on goals by Bill Coole, Frank Sorice, Steve Vanderberghe and Jeremy Gave. David Siterski assisted on three of the goals.
Austin Sonneveldt gave up four of the goals, and Benn Overholt came on for the third period and surrendered one on a 5-on-3 power play. Pilots netminder John Klienhaus made 22 saves.
"I was pleased with our performance," West coach Jeremy Rintala said. "They just seemed to finish on every opportunity they got."
The Titans (1-1) outshot De La Salle 23-15.

The Trojans evened their record at 1-1 with a 4-0 shutout of Dearborn Unified in the consolation game.
Junior netminder Dan Spencer earned his first varsity win and shutout with an eight-save performance as Central outshot Dearborn 31-8.
The Trojans took a 1-0 lead on Chris Archambo's first-period goal, set up by Steve Ball and Max Schrank. Luke Stricker added a power-play score in the second period and Central iced the game with a strong third period that included the first varsity goals by freshman Adam Swy and sophomore Jared VanWormer. Alex Goodhue and Trevor Mattis assisted Swy's goal, while Travis Clary and Derek Gardiner picked up assists on VanWormer's score.
Central hosts Gaylord on Wednesday to kick off the Big North Conference slate.
