October 12, 2008 12:00 am Manton moved to 4-3 on the season Saturday with a 26-19 Highland Conference win over Evart. The Rangers (4-3, 2-2) scored twice in the fourth quarter to break a 13-13 tie. Darren Morris had two 4-yard touchdown runs for Manton while Dominic Strange had a 90-yard score. Jasper Woodcock connected with Corey Webb on a 7-yard pass to complete the scoring. Strange finished with 13 carries for 149 yards. Defensively, Brennen Allen and Webb each had eight tackles for Manton while Mark Perry and David Burke each recovered a fumble. Evart (2-2, 3-4) held a 13-6 lead after the first quarter. Manton travels to McBain next Friday.
