Leland scored with 13 minutes left and battled through two scoreless overtimes to tie fifth-ranked Suttons Bay.

Eric Larsen and Drew Gauthier scored Leland's goals.

Justin Dalzell evened the game at 1-1 with a goal for the Norse and Benno Gerlach put Suttons Bay up 2-1 early in the second off a Jason McKisson assist.

Ben Fellows made 14 saves for the Comets, while Mack Jones stopped six shots for the Norse (16-2-1, 11-0-1 Northwest Conference).

Zach Hawkins had two goals and two assists as Glen Lake rolled to an 8-0 win over Leelanau School.

Dustin Baker, Austin Flees, Andrew Black, Ryan Black, Tony Weinke and John Lee also netted goals for the Lakers (15-5-1). Baker, Lucian Blaser, Zach Gordon, Tony Johnson and Nate Sharpe picked up assists in the game. Ryan Black and Drew Black shared goaltending duties.
