Even playing without Aaron Greenman at No. 2 singles, Traverse City West rolled to a 7-1 Big North tennis victory over Petoskey on Tuesday.
Victorious in doubles for the Titans (2-1) were Dylan Deemer/Zach Hughey at No. 1 (6-2, 7-5), Carter Jones/Jacob Nestor at No. 2 (6-1, 4-6, 6-1), Luke Hessler/Trevor Tooley at No. 3 (7-5, 6-0) and Nick Tooley/Joel Collins at No. 4 (6-1, 6-1).
In singles, West got wins from Nathan Feenstra at No. 1 (6-3, 6-0), Dane Deemer at No. 2 (6-2, 6-4) and John Cannon at No. 3 (6-4, 6-2).
Petoskey's victory came from Adam Blachut at No. 4 singles (6-4, 7-5).
TC St. Francis 8

TC St. Francis improved to 2-0 in the Lake Michigan Conference with a shutout of Charlevoix.
Winning in singles for the Glads (3-1) were John Jurkas at No. 1 (6-1, 6-0), Will Elliott at No. 2 (6-0, 6-1), Mac Hughes at No. 3 (6-3, 6-3) and Sean Paquet at No. 4 (6-1, 6-1).
Posting straight-set wins in doubles were Michael Elliott/Newton Calcutt at No. 1 (6-1, 6-2), Alex Rushlow/Mac Corcoran at No. 2 (6-0, 6-0), Pat Wilson/Josh Kurtz at No. 3 (6-1, 6-0) and Josh Quinlan/Chris Miller at No. 4 (6-0, 6-0).
Winning 8-0 in exhibition matches for St. Francis were Ben Dirkse and Briggs Richmond.

Host Elk Rapids stayed perfect in the Lake Michigan Conference Tuesday with a 7-1 win over Harbor Springs.
The Elks haven't lost a dual match this year and sit 5-0 in the league and 6-0-1 overall.
Aaron Mayes had a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles while Max Bauer won 6-1, 6-1 in the second flight. Donny Fedrigon took No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0 and Sam Naples won the fourth flight 6-1, 6-4.
Nick Viglione and Frank Israel teamed for a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles, Josh Mosher and Kyle Hoover took the second flight 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 while Daniel Parlin and D.J. Campbell teamed for a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 4 doubles.
Harbor Springs lone win came at No. 3 doubles, where Adam Calloway and Max Wiggins teamed for the victory.

Petoskey JV 0
Traverse City West JV earned its second Big North Conference win with a 8-0 home sweep against Petoskey.
Carter Payne, Chris Howse, Gates Mueller and Andrew Hartman all won for the Titans (2-0, 6-1-1) in singles play.
Matt White and Chase Mather, Cam Mills and Drew Vandrie, Kyle Hughey and Tyler Markin, as well as Max Hughes and Curtis Brengman all had doubles wins.

TC West 9
Alpena 1
TC West rolled to a 9-1 win over Alpena in a game called by the mercy rule with 25 minutes remaining in the second half.
Curt Olson and Jon Gourlay had three goals for the Titans (6-3, 3-0 Big North Conference).
Ricardo Rodriguez had a goal and two assists. Jon Spencer had the first goal of the contest and Mitch Taplin the last one.
Olson and Brady Fagan also had assists for the Titans, who travel to Petoskey Thursday for a key league match at 5 p.m.
Alex Sanderson played the first half and Erik Nixon the second half in goal.
The TC West JV won 3-0 to improve to 6-4 on the season.
TC Central 6
Cadillac 0
Traverse City Central earned its first Big North Conference win of the season Tuesday with a 6-0 shutout against Cadillac.
Trojans senior Christian Groesbeck led the way with his first varsity hat-trick. He moved from the midfield to forward for the first time Tuesday.
Also scoring for TC Central (1-2, 4-4-1) were Miles Beauchamp, Neal Beauchamp and Greg Merica. Groesbeck, Merica, Bennett Weckler, Jordan deTar, Jordan Frain and David Noble all added assists.
Dane Macdonell earned the shutout.
Central won the JV game 4-0. Nick Wright netted three goals for the Trojans (4-2-2). Nick Armour added one. Kevin Trippe picked up two assists and Alex Gore one. Briggs Chapman was in goal.

Mason County Eastern 0
Zawacki Dalton scored his third hat-trick to lead Manistee to a 4-0 Western Michigan D-League win over host Mason County Eastern.
The Sabers (10-1) also had a goal from Helminiak Ryan. All four goals were scored in the first half.
Bubba Winicki earned the shutout for Manistee with five saves.
Forest Area 3
Gladwin 1
Forest Area took down Gladwin, 3-1 Tuesday in non-conference action.
The Warriors (6-3, 7-4) took a 2-0 lead in the first half off a Marco Martinez goal from Justin Jensen and a penalty kick from Jesse Richards.
Gladwin made it 2-1 in the second half before Nate Snyder put the game away on an assist from Martinez.
Max Galea made seven saves in net for Forest Area.
Harbor Light 6
East Jordan 1
Benjamin Cole had a hat-trick to lead Harbor Light Christian to a 6-1 victory over East Jordan.
Andrew Fila, Michael Britton and Ryan Conrad also had goals for the Swordsmen.
Austin La Count scored for East Jordan on an assist from older brother, Andrew. Keeper Jordan Hagen had 23 saves for the Red Devils.

TC Central 92
Ogemaw Heights 87
Lauren Rockafellow and Claire Wodzien had a hand in three victories as TC Central edged Ogemaw Heights, 92-87, in a non-conference swimming meet.
Each won two individual events as Rockafellow took the 200 freestyle (2:32.06) and 500 freestyle (6:58.58) while Wodzien captured the 200 individual medley (2:38.02) and 100 freestyle (1:00).
Kami Hundley, Kennedy Cullen, Wodzien and Rockafellow won the 400 freestyle relay (4:32.4).
In addition to the five victories, the Trojans were fifth in five of the other 12 events.

Maggie Walters had 23 kills to lead Suttons Bay to a 25-14, 21-25, 25-9, 25-14 Northwest Conference victory against Benzie Central.
Walters added four blocks and four digs and Crystal Dittrich 14 digs for the Norse (11-2-13, 2-1 NWC).
Emily Send added seven kills and Hildi Forton 38 assists.
Sara Thurkettle had 12 kills, four blocks, nine digs and was 7 for 7 serving for Benzie (6-11-1, 2-1). Also key for the Huskies were Jenna Scheele (three kills, one block, two digs), Jordan Lentz (12 digs), Kate Masell (17 digs, 18 for 19, three aces), Raenee Harig (17 assists, five digs, one kill) and Melissa Geetings (three kills, one block).

Megan Monks and Mae Johnson had seven kills to lead Forest Area to a 25-10, 25-13, 25-22 Ski Valley Conference victory over Bellaire.
Chelsea Strine added five kills and 11 digs and Allie Garrett 11 assists for the Warriors (13-9-2, 3-0 SVC). Molly Lockwood was 15 for 15 serving with three aces.
Rayders sweep two league matches
Charlevoix improved to 4-0 in the Lake Michigan Conference with wins over Kalkaska (25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 25-15) and Kalkaska (25-12, 25-19, 25-14).
The Rayders (15-7-7 overall) were led by Tammy Potter (57 kills, 12 digs), Shauna Spencley (20 kills), Taylor Storm (35 digs) and Jenna Way (78 assists, 31 digs).
Kalkaska won its first league match, downing Harbor Springs 25-19, 25-21, 20-25 and 25-21.
Pacing the Blazers were Abby Merrill (five kills, three aces, 11 of 15 serving), Maria Harbour (four aces, 21 of 21 serving), Heather Fisher (14 of 14 serving) and Megan Dunn (six kills, 50 assists).
Kingsley gets two tri-meet wins
Kingsley traveled to Frankfort Tuesday and came away with wins over Traverse City St. Francis and the host Panthers.
The Stags (3-0, 18-2-1) beat Frankfort 25-15, 25-20, 25-12 in Northwest Conference action and also got the Gladiators 25-17, 22-25, 15-10 in a non-conference match.
Hannah Bach had 18 kills and eight blocks for Kingsley while Sam Zubalik had 15 kills and five aces. Chelsea Edgcombe was 19-for-19 serving with six aces, Hilary Hoeflin had 22 digs and Mary Kaleita had 48 assists.
St. Francis edged out Frankfort 25-23, 21-25, 16-14 in the other match.
Leading the Gladiators were Amy Colburn (five kills, six digs), Emily Buckel (21 assists, six digs), Bailey Ray (seven aces, three digs), Lyndsay LaCourse (11 kills, four blocks, five digs), Jamie Bott (nine kills, three digs), Katie Miller (six aces, six kills, 13 digs) and Vanessa Fisher (17 digs).
Ally Popp had 10 kills, one ace and two digs and Laney Eubank 11 kills, seven aces, five digs, three assists and three blocks to lead Frankfort (11-9-1, 2-1 NWC). Tina Wills added two kills, three aces and four digs, Maggie Miller two kills, one ace, five digs and eight assists and McKinzi Stroup 15 assists, one kill, one ace and two digs.

Leland earned a Northwest Conference win over Mesick Tuesday in a five-set marathon.
The Comets won 26-24, 24-26, 26-24, 23-25, 15-8.
Mesick was paced by six kills, 10 digs and four aces from Nicole Hindman, Shelby Mack had six kills and eight digs, Jenna Maxsimowski had 17 digs and Trisha Stagg had 15 assists.
GOLF
Titans capture Alpena Invite
Gaby Muller shared medalist honors Tuesday to lead Traverse City West to the Alpena Invitational title.
The Titans shot 388, followed by Alpena (393) and Traverse City Central (395).
Muller and TC Central's Chelsea Guoynes each shot 85.
Other scores for TC West included Korinne Diss with 94, Leighanna Whiting shot 103 and Olivia Casciano had 106.
Also for TC Central, Taylor Schultz was fourth (91) and Rachel Jurik tied for 11th (101). Rachel White added a 118.
TC Central won the JV portion of the meet with a 463. Nicole Gunn (102), Maria Frick (114), Bailey Judson (119) and Katie Madison (128) counted for the Trojans.
