August 27, 2008 12:00 am Talon Morris and Michaela Carnegie led Benzie Central to a sweep of the Manton Invitational. There were two races -- 9th-10th grade and 11th-12th grade. Each of the school's top two finishers in the two races counted as did the next best overall finish regardless of grade. In the boys division, Benzie's Morris finished first (18:07) in the 11th-12th grade race while Tom Smletzer was second (18:18) and AJ Patterson fifth (18:48). In the girls division, Benzie's Carnegie took first (20:44), Taylor Nye second (21:44) and Marika Grabowski fifth (21:59) in the 9th-10th grade race. Theresa Warsecke was sixth (22:24). Devyn Ramsay won the 11th-12th grade race (21:02).
