The newest area co-op is paying off quickly.

Traverse City St. Francis freshman McKenzie Domine scored two goals to help Traverse City Christian to a 4-0 win over Harbor Springs.

Jason Send added two goals and an assist for the Sabres, who have six players from St. Francis on their roster.

Jon Rudolph added an assist. Christian's defense of James Heersema, Peter Mustard, David Voorhies and Ryan Benson shut down the Rams, limiting goalie David Gallagher's work.

Ryan Seitter netted two goals as Leland posted a 7-0 non-conference win over Bellaire.

Eric Larsen, Dustin Maleski, David Couturier, Connor Jetton and Ray Platts added solo goals. Platts also had two assists.,

Ben Fellows posted the shutout in goal.

Fairview 0

Matt Leffew and Nate Snyder scored goals to power Forest Area past Fairview 2-0 in a Northern Michigan Soccer League contest.

Mitch Core assisted on the Snyder goal for the Warriors (2-0).

Max Galea turned aside 12 shots in goal for Forest Area.
