Suttons Bay didn't let a late Elk Rapids rally determine the outcome Tuesday.

The Norsemen scored less than two minutes into overtime for a 3-2 non-conference soccer win over the Elks.

Danny Holmes scored the goal in overtime off a cross from Justin Dalzel. It was his second score of the night after a first-half goal from Shane McDonald tied the game at 1-1.

McDonald scored midway through the second period off a free kick from 30 yards out for a 2-1 lead.

Elk Rapids tied it back up off John Greiner's goal with 9 minutes remaining.

Tucker Hogarth had the other goal for the Elks with Andy Tezak assisting both shots.

Jared Orban made nine saves for the Norsemen while Nick Thompson was in net for the Elks.
