HARBOR SPRINGS -- Zach Sobel is going solo.
The first-round co-leader shot a second straight 69 on The Moor course at Boyne Highlands on Thursday to take a four-shot lead into today's final round of the Coca-Cola Junior Championship.
Sobel, who hails from Clearwater Beach, Fla., is 6-under for the 54-hole American Junior Golf Association tournament.
Grace Na of Oakland, Calif. and Katie Burnett of Brunswick, Ga., share the lead in the girls portion of the tournament with 4-over-par 148s.
In the boys tournament, Zachary Balit of Bradenton, Fla. is in second with a 2-under 142. Balit, who matched Sobel's 69 in Wednesday's opening round, shot a 73 on Wednesday.
A pair of golfers with Michigan ties are in third and fourth. Charlotte's Blake English is third with an even-par 144 while Joey Garber of Petoskey and Vero Beach, Fla. is fourth with a 1-over 145.
Suttons Bay's Charlie Olson is at 160 for two rounds while Traverse City's Tony Casciano is two shots behind Olson. Casciano shot an 80 in the second round while Olson carded an 81.
In the girls tournament, Burnett shot a second straight 74 to pull into a tie with first-round leader Na. Madison Pressel -- the younger sister of LPGA Tour player Morgan Pressel -- is a shot behind the leaders.
