Traverse City Central clinched at least a share of the BNC crown with a 1-0 win over their crosstown rivals.
"I'm really happy with how the team played," Trojans coach Jaime Smith said. "We played 11 solid. I feel we're hitting our stride at the right time."
Maggie Rogers' shot from 33 yards out snuck under the crossbar for the chilly game's only goal. Sara Lang drew an assist.
Central (11-4-2, 8-0-1 Big North) can sew up the outright title with a win over Alpena on Tuesday at the Coast Guard.
The Trojans also won the JV game, 6-2.
Emily Gourlay paced Central (8-7-2) with three goals and two assists. Nicole Lally came up with a goal and two assists, Molly Kate Gardner had a goal and an assist, Lynn Seman added a goal and Maggie Heeren chipped in an assist. Elizabeth Reinke was in goal. Jessica Harding and Kaila Stephens scored for West.
The TC Central JV Gold dropped a 2-0 decision to Gaylord's freshmen.
