Ariel Ramsey had two goals and two assists as Charlevoix kept its lead in the Lake Michigan Conference soccer race with a 5-1 win over the TC Liberty on Wednesday.
Kaleigh Blanchard, Olivia Catt and Madison Way also tallied for the Rayders (12-1, 11-1 LMC). Tammy Potter made nine saves in net.
The Liberty got a goal from Jessica Heger.

The two goals for Elk Rapids came from Nina Barraco and Jenna Hubbell. Olivia Morrison notched two assists.
The lone goal for Benzie (7-6) came from Olivia Addis.

Lynn Seman's first-half goal was all the TC Central Gold JV needed in a 1-0 win over the Elk Rapids JV.

Jacob Moilanen, Josh Thaxton and Sean Coykendall each had two hits and drove in two runs as Benzie Central completed a Northwest Conference sweep of Kingsley with an 11-1 victory.
Ryan Olson was the winning pitcher for Benzie (17-4-1, 11-0-1 NWC). Olson allowed one hit and struck out 11.
Cory Baklarz allowed two hits -- both to John Bodjack -- and struck out nine as Benzie won the opener, 6-1.
Thaxton had a two-run homer among two hits while Matt Wichter also had two hits. Moilanen added a two-run double and Troy Weber a run-scoring single.

Devin Weber pitched three perfect innings as Glen Lake blanked Bear Lake 15-0 in the opener of a twinbill.
Kyle Klumpp backed Weber with two hits and three RBIs. Josh Jacklin, Joe Galla and John Bunek all drove in two runs.
The Lakers (13-11) won the nightcap 15-5. Galla produced three hits and three RBIs. Klumpp, Jacklin, KC Novak and winning pitcher Nick Swartz added two hits.

Amanda Worm struck out 10 and gave up three hits in Kingsley's 8-2 opening game win over Benzie Central.
Courtney Stocking led the Kingsley offense with three hits. She scored three runs. Rachel Dorie and Kasey Boyle contributed two hits apiece.
In the nightcap, Worm went four innings, allowing two hits and striking out six. Amanda Ocobock pitched two innings, striking out four. Kali Weber contributed to the Stags (17-4-1, 9-0-1) attack with a single and two doubles. For Benzie, Ashley Parrotte had two hits.

Cori Kahler and Lauren O'Brien combined on a pair of one-hitters as Glen Lake swept Bear Lake by identical 16-1 scores.
Kahler and Katie Drzewiecki drove in three runs apiece in the opener. Drzewiecki had two doubles. Amanda Lautner pounded out three hits. Megan Thurkettle scored three runs.
In the nightcap, Drzewiecki batted in three more runs on two hits. O'Brien and Hannah Therrien added two hits and two RBIs.

In the opening game, Herman pitched a perfect game, striking out 11 in five innings. At the plate, Allison Korson and Mary Linguar had two singles while Anne Kuznicki contributed a single and a double and Samantha Herman a double.
In the nightcap, Susan Herman continued her dominance, allowing three hits while striking out seven.

Clancey Garland had a double and three RBIs as East Jordan topped Bellaire 9-3 in the second game of a non-league doubleheader.
Randi McFall scattered five hits and struck out eight to pick up the win for East Jordan (19-9). Montana Basch had two hits to lead Bellaire.
Shaina Peters outdueled Logan Edgecomb as East Jordan won game one, 3-1. Peters allowed two hits and struck out 11 while Edgecomb fanned 10 for Bellaire.
Mary Gocha had two hits and one RBI for the Red Devils. Edgecomb led the Eagles with two hits.

Mallory Weaver and Stephanie Graves had five hits apiece in the opener. Weaver hit a home run and drove in three. Graves drove in two. Alyssa Groeneveld chipped in four hits and drove in five while Katie Madison accounted for three hits -- two doubles -- and four RBIs.
Weaver had five more hits in the second game. Groeneveld, Graves and winning pitcher Grace Duensing added four hits. Graves and Duensing drove in four runs. Groeneveld homered.

Harry Malone and Andrew Elliott netted two goals apiece for the Thunder. Matt Shepler, Tyler McCullen, Luke Stricker, Cam Hodges and Dan Spencer also scored. Billy Baesch made seven saves in goal.
