TRAVERSE CITY -- Petoskey swept the four singles flights en route to a 5-3 Big North Conference win over Traverse City West.

Victorious for West: Lydia Lovejoy and Lisa Watson (6-0, 6-0) at No. 1 doubles, Morgan Johnson and Ellen Walczak (6-4, 6-3) at No. 2 doubles and Alison Christopherson and Danika Baker (6-2, 3-6, 7-5) at No. 4 doubles.

Traverse City Christian used three doubles victories to post a 5-3 win Harbor Springs.

The Sabres (7-2-2) received doubles wins from No. 2 Katie VanVreede/Alisha Bultsma (6-3, 6-1), No. 3 Grace Banks/Karley Bullard (6-2, 6-1) and No. 4 Kate Telgas/Caitlin Rorick (6-0, 6-0).

Harbor's No. 1 doubles team of Anna Asbury/Nicole Sheppard won 6-2, 6-3.

TC Christian's Hannah Lutheran won No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-2 and No. 3 singles Meghan Terpstra claimed a 6-3, 6-2 win.

Emily Miller claimed No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-1) for the Rams and Harbor Springs won No. 4 singles by default.

Petoskey JV 4

Traverse City West and Petoskey tied a JV match 4-4.

A default at No. 4 singles in Petoskey's favor was the decisive favor in the draw.

TC West won three of the four doubles matches, getting victories from No. 1 pair Taylor Dow/Tiahna Hayes (6-3, 5-7, 10-8), No. 2 Katrina Torgerson/Ally Mayer (5-7, 6-3, 10-8) and No. 3 Aly Jarosz/Amy Winton (7-6, 6-1). No. 2 singles player Sarah Fox won 6-4, 6-0.

Petoskey's wins came from three singles flights -- No. 1 Kelsey Stark (6-0, 6-1), No. 3 Jessica Muha (6-2, 6-0) and No. 4 (default), as well as No. 4 doubles pairing Alex Meyers/Jamie Crandall (6-1, 6-1).

TC St. Francis 2

The TC Central varsity B team swept the doubles en route to a 6-2 win over TC St. Francis.

Victorious in doubles for Central were Caiti Blanke.Jennifer Matson at No. 1 (4-6, 6-2, 10-6), Alex Lamey/Grace Amalfitano at No. 2 (6-1, 6-1), Claire Wodzien/Chloe Seymour at No. 3 (7-6(4), 6-3) and Ellen Whiting/Kaytlyn Jordan at No. 4 (6-3, 6-3).

Kelly Krueger prevailed 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles while Taylor Schultz won 6-1, 7-5 at No. 3 for Black.

Kristen Marsh won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles while Lilian Wiley posted a 7-6(5), 6-3 victory at No. 4.
