Lady Bulldogs post pair of victories

The Traverse City Home School Bulldogs improved to 9-0 by winning two games Saturday.

The Bulldogs defeated Butternut 60-46 and North Grand Rapids 58-36.

Playing their first game since Dec. 13, the Bulldogs opened with the win over Butternut. Ellisha Crosby led the attack with 33 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, five blocks and five steals. Kasey Acton added five assists and five steals and Ashley Larson eight rebounds.

Ten minutes after that game ended, the Bulldogs played North Grand Rapids -- and then lost Ellen Musser for part of the game with an ankle injury.

Sarah Morrison finished with a season-high 15 points in the win. Musser managed to drop in 10 points and add six assists. Crosby, who's averaging 25.9 points per game, had 17 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, four blocks and four steals. Rachel Crosby chipped in four blocks and Acton five assists and four steals.

Traverse City Home School plays at Northport on Tuesday.
