Reps beat Manistee on late goal

Peacock nets the game-winner

FROM STAFF REPORTS

Jake Peacock scored with 5:55 remaining Saturday night to give the Bay Reps a 5-4 win over Manistee in a high school hockey game.

Conor Cocking drew the assist.

Andrew Zelinski had a goal and two assists to pace the Reps (5-6, 3-0). Craig Miller, Ryan Farley and Luke McDiarmid also scored. Jacob Soenen picked up two assists while Peacock and Anthony Armour each had one.

Manistee, which jumped out to a 2-0 lead, scored three power-play goals and one short-handed goal in the contest. The Reps also had three power-play tallies.

The Reps travel to Midland on Saturday.
