Bashar Kiami, MD, an endocrinologist practicing in Grayling, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the society of internists.
Dr. Kiami, was elected upon the recommendations of peers and the review of ACP's Credentials Subcommittee. Fellowship in the ACP is a mark of distinction and an honorary designation given to recognize ongoing individual service and contributions to the practice of medicine.
Dr. Kiami has been a provider with the Mercy Physician Network since June 2000. He is double board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Todd Kulman has joined the team of the Great Lakes Region of the American Red Cross as its new communications manager.
Kulman comes to the Red Cross from Midwest Communications in Lansing, where he served as the news director for the past eight years. He replaces Monica Stoneking, who left her position in August to return to her hometown of Kansas City, Mo.
