TRAVERSE CITY — Alternative medicine specialists Jill Donberg and Elon Camerson, both from the Grand Traverse Natural Health Clinic, will be the featured speakers at the Monday, April 22, Successful Aging Series program.
The program, titled “Alternative Medicine Folk or Fact: Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine,” will be presented at 2 p.m. at the Grand Traverse Pavilions off South Elmwood Avenue. There is no charge and the public is welcome.

TRAVERSE CITY — Third Level Crisis Intervention Center has openings for crisis counselor volunteers and interns.
Potential volunteers must be at least 18 years old, commit to 150 hours of service, pass criminal background checks and have adequate computer experience. Forty hours of free training will be provided and starts at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2.

TRAVERSE CITY — The Father Fred Foundation is seeking donations for its spring garage sale fundraiser.
Donations of new and gently used household goods, toys, art, antiques, sporting goods, books, small appliances, jewelry, collectibles, linens and clothing may be dropped off at the foundation, 826 Hastings St., through May 3. Furniture in good condition will be accepted at the foundation until Friday, May 17. Foundation volunteers will pick up heavy/large furniture items through May 10.
