TRAVERSE CITY — A Rapid City man faces multiple criminal charges on allegations he sexually assaulted three family members.

Ryan Lowell Bailey, 30, is held in Grand Traverse County Jail on $50,000 bond. He was arraigned Friday on four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony punishable by up to life in prison.

Bailey is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting two girls, now ages 17 and 18, between 2001 and 2008. Court records indicate he lived with the victims in Garfield Township and Traverse City.

Another relative told Michigan State Police that Bailey assaulted her in 2007, when she was 13 and visited the Garfield Township home, according to court documents.

A preliminary examination is scheduled for May 3.
