McManus 50th

TRAVERSE CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McManus of Traverse City observed their golden wedding anniversary on Nov. 24, 2012. They celebrated the milestone at a private family dinner.

Arthur McManus and Judith Couturier were married on Nov. 24, 1962, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Traverse City. Monsignor Russell W. Passeno performed the ceremony.

Mr. McManus retired after 30 years at Consumers Energy. Mrs. McManus retired after 19 years at Garfield Township. The couple continues to run their cherry farm in Grand Traverse County. The McManuses are lifelong Traverse City residents.

The couple's children are Barbara (Timothy) Worm of Kingsley, and Todd (Liway) McManus and Tami (Cory) Revett, all of Traverse City. They also have eight grandchildren.
