Suttons Bay student receives band honors

SUTTONS BAY — Suttons Bay Middle School eighth grader Natalie Myers received All-State band honors.

Myers will join other All-State winners, including several Traverse City Area Public Schools students, for performances at the Michigan Music Conference. Conference shows are scheduled for Jan. 19 at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids.

400 students won All-State honors of the more than 2,300 students who auditioned statewide, according to a Suttons Bay Public Schools press release.

Myers plays French horn in the Suttons Bay High School Band and the Northport Community Band.
