Mancelona man sat in roadway, struck by car

MANCELONA — A Mancelona man who sat in a roadway is hospitalized in critical condition after a vehicle plowed over him.

Antrim County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the Thursday afternoon incident to find Anthony Michael Hall, 22, trapped beneath a Chevrolet Malibu.

Authorities believe Hall sat in a roadway when Tiffany Nichole Tanis, 19, of Bellaire, struck him as she drove west on Michigan Street near Asbury Street in Mancelona.

Emergency personnel airlifted Hall to Munson Medical Center where he’s listed in critical condition.
