---- — HATFIELD, Pa. — Bradley E. Anderson, 61, of Hatfield, Pa., and formerly of Boyertown, Pa., passed away Jan. 30, 2013, at Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital. He was the husband of Maureen A. O'Ryan and the late Karen A. (Petracca) Anderson.
Born May 18, 1951, in Indianapolis, Ind., he was a son of Elton L. and Elna (Twite) Anderson.
Known for his dry wit, Brad graduated from Grosse Pointe High School and later from Eastern Michigan University.
He lived in San Francisco for many years before relocating to Pennsylvania in 1986.
He was self-employed and worked most recently as an appraiser with Higgins and Welch RE and Appraisal.
Brad was an avid fan of Michigan sports and was especially fond of cheering on the University of Michigan football team. He was also into health and fitness and greatly enjoyed walking outside with his dogs.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his sons, Bradley E. Jr. and Terence J., both of Boyertown, Pa.; his sisters, Mary Kristine Church and her husband, Roger, of Northport, and Kathleen Anderson and her husband, Jeffrey Lipkin, of Palo Alto, Calif; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home in Lansdale, Pa.,where relatives and friends may greet the family from 4 to 6 p.m. The memorial service will be followed by a light dinner with time for fellowship and remembrance.
