KALKASKA — Robert Edward Crambell Sr., 82, of Kalkaska, passed away on Jan. 23, 2013, at his home. Mr. Crambell was born on Nov. 1, 1930, to Clarence and Beatrice (Hunter) Crambell in Okemos.
Bob was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved to spend his days spoiling his family with his great cooking. He enjoyed taking adventurous drives, exploring new locations, hunting, fishing and playing cribbage.
Robert is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Nikki (Hugh) Wilke, Sharlean (Glenn) Saxton, Craig (Terri) Crambell, Robert Jr. (Barbara) Crambell and John Crambell; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Doris Conn and Wanda Tyner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Beatrice; brother, Virgil Crambell; brother-in-law, Donald Tyner; and great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Endres.
A memorial service will be held in memory of Bob at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 26, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2470 Beebe Road NW, Kalkaska. A luncheon will follow at the Clearwater Township Hall, 5440 River St. NW, Rapid City.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association and St. Paul Lutheran Church.
