---- — Third drunken driving offenses for two
TRAVERSE CITY — Two people were charged with their third drunken driving offenses in separate incidents.
A witness followed Heather Marie Susdorf, 35, of Beulah, on June 15 after seeing her drive poorly in Blair Township. The witness contacted a Grand Traverse sheriff’s deputy, who stopped Susdorf.
A preliminary breath test showed she had blood-alcohol content of .162, court records state.
A deputy on June 19 saw an abandoned vehicle on Barlow Street and a short ways down the road talked to Marshall Collen Roe II, 29, of Traverse City, who said he ran out of gas.
The deputy attempted to speak with Roe at a gas station, but he ran away. Roe was apprehended a short time later and did poorly on field sobriety tests, deputies said.
He was arrested and registered a blood-alcohol content of .21, according to court documents.
Roe and Susdorf both are charged with third-offense operating under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Roe is additionally charged with resisting a police officer and as a habitual offender.
Both remain lodged in Grand Traverse County’s jail awaiting preliminary examinations.
