Christmas worship

TRAVERSE CITY — Bethlehem Lutheran Church will hold worship services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

On Tuesday a child and family friendly service will start at 6 p.m., followed by a traditional service at 8 p.m. and a candlelight service at 10 p.m. There will be one service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Candlelight service

BEAR LAKE — Bear Lake Christian Church, 221 Bear Lake Road, invites the community to a casual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Holiday worship

TRAVERSE CITY — Unity of Traverse City will celebrate its first Christmas season with its new minister, the Rev. Eileen Stulak.

The church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service and a special service for children at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Its Burning Bowl Service will take place during the regular Sunday worship on Dec. 29. This is a time to let go of past limitations and write hopes for the future for the burning bowl. Sunday, Jan. 5, is White Stone Sunday, when the congregation will declare its spiritual intentions for 2014.

Urgent Care hours

TRAVERSE CITY — Munson Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic will offer holiday hours for Christmas and New Year’s.

Holiday hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday; 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday; and 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Dec. 31-Jan. 1.

Christmas meal

KALKASKA — St. Mary’s of the Woods and G’s Pizzeria will host a Christmas dinner on Christmas Day.

The meal will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at G’s Pizzeria, 502 N. Cedar St. The menu features roast turkey, mashed potatoes, a vegetable, rolls, cranberries and dessert. There is no charge and the community is invited.
