St. Francis star Bussell named MaxPreps All-American

TRAVERSE CITY — St. Francis volleyball standout Bridget Bussell has been named to the MaxPreps 2012 Volleyball Medium Schools All-American team.

The 6-foot-1 outside hitter led St. Francis to the Michigan Class C finals. As a senior, she racked up 580 kills, 110 aces on 445 serves, 63 blocks, 331 digs and 430 serve receptions.

Bussell was named to the coaches' association's Class A all-state team and the Record-Eagle's all-region team this season.
