PETOSKEY — Christien Geiger and Josh Stiglich scored first-half goals Tuesday to power Traverse City West to a 2-1 Big North Conference win at Petoskey.

The league champion Titans finished 10-0-2 in the Big North.

"That's our third unbeaten league season in a row," West coach Jason Carmien said. "It's a credit to these kids that they were able to keep that tradition going."

Dan Montgomery assisted on Geiger's goal. Brandon Montgomery drew the assist on Stiglich's tally.

Justin Kraft was in goal.

West (14-3-3) is now off until next Tuesday when the Titans host Traverse City Central in a district contest.

Petoskey (10-8-2, 8-3) got a goal from Louis Lamberti in the second half.

Bellaire      5 McBain NMC     2

Hunter Rowe scored three goals, two in overtime, as Bellaire beat McBain NMC 5-2 in a Northern Michigan Soccer League crossover battle.

Bellaire, the No. 1 seed in the north, will now face Big Rapids Crossroads Academy, the No. 1 seed in the south, on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Houghton Lake.

The Eagles (15-5 overall) led 1-0 at half on a Denny Hall goal. Christoph Radtke assisted.

Bellaire expanded its lead to 2-0 with 17:54 left on Rowe's unassisted goal.

McBain NMC came back with two goals in less than three minutes as Dylan Lucas and Trevor Gernaat converted.

Playing in a steady rain, Bellaire dominated in overtime, scoring three times in the first 10-minute extra session. Rowe netted two and Drew Emery one. Rowe assisted on Emery's goal while Emery returned the favor on Rowe's last tally.

Adam Crandall had seven saves in net. Colin May starred on defense.

Big Rapids Crossroads     2 Burt Lake NMCA     1

Burt Lake NMCA fell to a 12-9 with a 2-1 loss to Big Rapids Crossroads Academy in a Northern Michigan Soccer League crossover game.

Aaron Chatfield netted the Burt Lake goal. Jeffrey Thompson assisted.

Burt Lake, the No. 2 seed in the north, will face McBain NMC, the No. 2 seed in the south, on Thursday at 5 .p.m. at Houghton Lake.
