KINGSLEY — Travis DeBello knocked down five 3-pointers to lead Kingsley to a 61-55 Northwest Conference victory Saturday over Leland to sew up a second-place tie with Benzie Central in the league.
DeBello ended up with 19 points, while Austin Olson added 16 and Tristan Eickenroth 14 for the Stags (12-8, 10-4 NWC).
Kingsley led 14-0 early before Leland rallied to knot it up at 30-30 with 1:57 left in the first half. The Stags put on a 6-0 spurt to lead by six at the intermission and never trailed.
Ian Duvall scored 15 points, A.J. Whittaker 13, Tyler Leveque 12 and Jonah Wilson 10 for the Comets.
Kingsley plays Cadillac in Class B district play Monday at Mason County Central.

Boyne City outscored Harbor Springs 16-8 in the third quarter en route to a 58-45 Lake Michigan Conference victory.
Corey Redman led the Ramblers with 19 points and seven rebounds, Ryan Carson added 13 points and five boards and Bradley Fouchia scored 11.
Spencer Kloss paced the Rams with 15 points.
The win evens Boyne’s record at 10-10 overall and moved them into a tie for fourth place in the LMC at 7-10. The Ramblers host Charlevoix in district play Monday. The Rayders won both regular-season matchups.
