What They're Saying
"They're a scary team to go up against. They run the veer offense very well. They've been doing it for a lot of years, but they've actually some extra things they've to it since we played them a long time ago. Their defense is similarly designed to Nouvel, but again they do some extra things out of it that force you to move people. We have to somehow find a way to sustain drives against their defense." St. Francis coach Greg Vaughan said.
"You have a caged animal that has its back against the wall. They're 4-3. They're in a situation where they might not make the playoffs if they lose to us. Frankfort was in the same position last week. St. Francis has lost some tough games. But they always get better as the year goes on and right now I think they're playing some great football. We've got our hands full. We know that," — Glen Lake coach Jerry Angers on St. Francis.
