BENZONIA -- Cadillac topped the hosts to claim a Class B district championship Friday.
The Vikings downed Benzie Central 25-8, 25-11, 25-20, ending the Huskies' best season in school history.
Benzie posted a school-best 51-12-5 record this season.
Leading the Huskies on Friday were Sara Thurkettle (seven kills, two blocks, eight digs), Haeley Melton (six kills, three blocks, 14 digs), Corrie Noah (four kills, two blocks, 13 digs), Jenna Scheele (five kills), Madison Mutzke (three kills, two blocks, five digs), Kate Masell (15 digs) and Raenee Harig (25 assists, nine digs).
Cadillac plays in the Petoskey regional on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Class D at Leland
Leland wins district title
Leland won its first district crown since the departure of Alisha Glass with a four-set win over Northport.
The Comets (22-26-1) hadn't won districts since seeing their star player -- now leading nationally-ranked Penn State -- graduate. They won 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21.
In Friday's game, Leland was led by Sammy Nowak (12 kills, three blocks), Elizabeth McKee (11 kills, six blocks, two aces), Sarah Ruszel (10 kills, 10 digs, three blocks, four aces), Tantzi Snyder (11 kills, three blocks), Hanna Schaub (37 assists), Melissa Laredo (27 digs), Katlyn Fleis (14 digs) and Annalise Povolo (six aces).
The Comets play Mason County Eastern in regionals at Buckley on Tuesday.
Northport was led by Emily Stowe (12 blocks, nine kills, 13 assists, 16 digs), Kelly Fischer (14 digs), Maria Roman (11 kills, nine blocks) and Bryton Collins (11 blocks, 19 assists).

Buckley took McBain Northern Michigan Christian to the limit before dropping a 25-7, 28-30, 21-25, 25-23, 8-15 match in a Class D district volleyball final.
"We gave them all they could handle," Buckley coach Rene LaFreniere said.
Buckley (9-34-2) was led by freshman Bailee Kuhn, who was 19 of 19 serving. Senior April Gibler was 11 of 12 serving. Paige Gokey added 10 kills and Caley Blanchard seven.
